Hematite is a mineral, colored black to steel or silver-gray, brown to reddish brown, or red. It is mined as the main ore of iron. It is said that Hematite is a stone that is used to ground or stabilize and for protection.
The hematite shown is a pure gunmetal silver color and has no other colors or veins. Appearance of other color is simply a reflection.
These earrings feature 12 mm x 12 mm hematite heart shaped beads, accented with 2 mm sterling silver beads and smaller hematite heart and rice shaped beads, each measuring 3 mm - 5mm.
All findings are sterling silver.
