First Jewelry Making Class

Posted by Robin Van Avery on

I am going to give this another go, I realise that the last one was very short notice.

Welcome to the first ever Giulian Lyn jewelry making class! This class is very limited, as it is the first one I have ever taught. The fee includes basic introduction to the tools used, as well as the metals and gemstone featured in our project.  Tools will be provided by me, as well as all supplies needed.  In this class we will be making a simple pair of earrings featuring Bronzite.

Bronzite is gemological name for the common mineral, Enstatite. Bronzite is a lovely chocolate brown colored gemstone with golden swirls. It is said that Bronzite can help one think ahead about things, which enhances our ability to take control of our lives.

The earrings will be composed of polished Bronzite beads, silver accent beads, and handmade ear wires from sterling silver.  Everyone will make their own ear wires as well as assemble the earrings by themselves.  Each participant of this first class will be given a coupon good for 40% off your next purchase on

Class will start at 6:30 and run approximately 1 1/2-2 hours.  Oh, and you can bring your own adult beverage (as long as you are 21) so what are you waiting for?? Come to Finders Keepers Mining in Marcellus, drink some wine, and make some beautiful jewelry.
